"God forgives sin but not consequence!" - @APOSTLESULEMAN

Hosea 8:7 - "For they have sown the wind, they shall reap the whirlwind..."
Galatians 6:7 - "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man south, that shall he also reap."
Case in point: Apostle Paul

Paul, before conversion, was a terrible man - persecuting christians by having them beaten. In fact, he was on his way to Damascus (Acts 9), to get a license/legal approval to propagate this work when he encountered God.
Paul repented. Paul became a changed man but till he left this world, he was always beaten. Every time, he went to preach the gospel, he was always beaten. At a point, he was beaten to the point of death and dragged and left by the city gate.

He beat people so he was also beaten
Didn't God forgive him? Yes!

God forgave his soul. God save his soul.

But the consequence of what his flesh had done, he had to face it.
If you understand consequence, you will avoid getting entangled with ungodly/immoral acts.
