I couldnât have been more than 9 or 10 when I saw FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH. We kids had a rental copy somehow. I didnât know what I was looking at but I wasnât hatinâ the funny feelings it gave me.
Yet I probably didnât see any hardcore porn until I was in college. I dunno, it wasnât as accessible back then, at least in my case.
Itâs weird because my wife and I are super careful about what our 8YO is able to see. Strictly nothing sexual, as far as we can help it. My folks were not nearly as strict. I saw a fair amount of nudity in movies before I was 12.
I hope this thread doesnât cast a bad light on my parents. They werenât prudes, but neither were they negligent (or worse). They were (are) wonderful, nurturing, godly people.
