In the future, I hope black parents of black children stop getting mad at their kids for having white friends when they move their kids to white neighborhoods and put them in majority white schools. It will make these kids far less insecure about their blackness.

This issue is not new and is prolly why it annoys me when in books you have the only two black kids in school just happening to be friends with each other and no one else.

I have talked with other black folks my age and it's wild to hear how many of us felt like we weren't black enough because we had white friends. Like what do you expect?? Look at the environment. I do wonder if this situation is unique to Black folks or other POC as well.
