A while ago I tweeted about how stressful and how bad I was in my driving lessons. Guess what? I decided to go to a different teacher and

In this thread I will explain what happened and what I learned from this. Buckle up.
So with the previous teacher everything was so complicated, he by the way he behaved made me feel super bad about myself until I stopped him from doing that. He was toxic, with every mistake, he shouted, he didnât want to explain something more than once. I was like: WTF?
The situation inside the car was everything but calm. I was able to keep my calm and at a certain point with my behavior to make him stop shouting.
After every lesson my brain was a mush. I wasnât looking forward for a next one.

Side note: Many things inside the car didnât work properly. I pointed that out and he dismissed my concerns like I donât know what Iâm talking about. As it turned out: I was right.
Anyway, I managed to deal with this bs for 8 lessons. After that I was so done with him and his behavior. I decided to change teachers and go with someone who can empathize with a newbie driver.
I was so traumatized by that experienceI was so scared to even start the engine.

Despite that, in the first few minutes with my new teacher I was able to let go and realize that itâs not that hard after all.
The lesson was smooth, learned a ton, made 0 mistakes (not that this is a problem, Iâm still learning) and had fun.

As I look back I made a series of mistakes. I needed to put my first teacher to his place and âdemandâ from him a decent behavior towards me sooner than I did.
Another one was that I needed to change teachers sooner than I did.
I grew a lot from this experience.
