My company provides elder care in the hom. We are in this position, but in fairness many people are genuinely frightened. Our clients, for example, are just as reluctant to *receive* critical services. The state & private companies have, in some cases, offered so much money 1/5 https://twitter.com/BostonGlobe/status/1264171959258095618">https://twitter.com/BostonGlo...
for some jobs that I have had to say, "At this rate, if people won& #39;t take it, money isn& #39;t the issue. There is literally no price at which I can do this job for you." Granted, I& #39;m talking about working in the home of a Covid client, not handing someone take-out dinner. 2/5
But if I look at abuses of the current system, I& #39;d be far more focused on companies who got loans they shouldn& #39;t have than on the working poor.
And in the event the comment about pricing misleads anyone to think we are rolling in profits - far from it. We struggle like most 3/5

companies now. Despite critical need for our services, aides fear working & clients fear infection. But we also have a sense of mission: this is why we are in business. I& #39;m confident that if we execute well, we will contribute to coming through this crisis & eventually we 4/5
will thrive again. But we have a challenging journey to reach that day. /END
