Before COVID ever existed most hospitals in this country ran between 80-100% capacity on any given day (public & private). Some ran well above 100%. The same applies to ICU beds which are regularly oversubscribed.

We’ve never had a flat curve and no ‘preparation’ changes that.
They’re telling you that we will run out of ICU beds. Maybe we will. How will that be different to every single weekday or weekend up until now when we run out of everything from bandages to theatre time to ICU beds in many places?

There’s even a ConCourt ruling on this.
ICU doctors and others have been making these tough calls for years because of a lack of resources. As a result people who otherwise may not have died did. Literally nobody cared.

Now because someone has COVID they must be guaranteed an ICU bed. This is insanity.
