So a few weeks ago, Wynter was out front playing with this little boy on the steps. They were having a grand ol time, yall. Foreal.

Then...

This lil boy asked Wynter her name and I swear....

Wynter looked this lil boy in his face and said:

"Hm. iiiiiiiiiiiiiii don't wanna tell you"

Her big Capricorn energy, coming through:

Yall. YALL. If I was a lesser mother I may have been embarrassed but like...

MY BABY WAS ENFORCING HER BOUNDARIES AND EVEN AT THREE IF SHE DON'T WANNA TELL YOU HER NAME SHE DON'T HAVE TO, DAMMIT!!! RESPECT DET.

I was lowkey proud as fuck. DON'T BE GIVING THESE NIGGAS YA NAME OR INFO TIL YOU SURE, BABY GIRL.

After about 5 more minutes, she reconsidered and said "Hi, Ok. Myyyyy name is Wynter Rose." like DAMN NIGGA I GUESS I'LL TELL YOU SINCE YOU STILL HERE.

Why is she like this?!?

I love that she uses her language to express herself as well as she does at THREE, yall! From birth, I've emphasized this. From teaching her sign to communicate early on, to now encouraging her to "Use your words" instead of crying when frustrated.
