My friend and I talked about how traumatic the female coming of age period was for us while we had so little access to the truth and having to process our internalised shame towards sex and our own bodies...
I still feel a type of way towards sex, mostly because it's often experienced and promoted as something that happens to us rather than something we consentually participate in.
Then god forbid we celebrate our bodies and our sexual autonomy, it's seen as purposeful marketing towards men, inviting unsolicited advances that can be very violent exchanges.
With sexual responsibility being often the burden that is thrusted onto women, to deal with purchasing morning after pills, going through abortions after what is often an unsatisfactory experience for us. Not to mention the shame surrounding such sexual responsibility.
So basically casual sex is a scam for women because it puts us into a minus in this society especially with how much fucking men do, not enough actually know how to have sex.
So please ladies, if you're sleeping with someone and they do not value your sexual responsibility (ie, purchasing morning after pills, wearing condoms), doesn't satisfy you sexually, doesn't even communicate with you respectfully...leave the situation asap. QUARENTINE YA PUSS
