Hi! I have a friend who's a public hs teacher. Their faculty staff has been having online conferences since the beginning of May. Haven't seen anyone tweet this yet but currently this is what DepEd is planning on; https://twitter.com/bulletdumas/status/1263749597219835904
IMPORTANT: Please do know that this "plan" still depends on if the number of covid cases extremely rise during the span of May - August. IF it does, there's still a possibility that classes would be further postponed and resumed at november or dec.
Also, not everything I would state here is accurate. After all, what DepEd is doing is kind of experimental and is definitely STILL NOT A FINAL PLAN. Teachers are still having conferences almost every day and like i said, still depends on the situation of covid cases.
DepEd is currently planning on three ways to provide public education: online, face-to-face, and modular.
Each student would be encouraged of course to opt for online educ. This would be done through google classrooms, gmeet, etc. Public teachers are currently required to attend seminars abt online teaching/classes.
Face-to-face on the other hand would be provided for students who don't have enough resources for online classes. However, they would spend lesser time at school – as well as the faculty.
Work & school hrs for both teacher (T) and student (S) would be divided during the week, MWF for the first half, TThS for the 2nd.

All (T) are required to teach 10 hrs per week through face-to-face, and the rest of their work hrs through online. They call this "blended learning"
Curriculums are being revised as well, simpler subjects or topics are being removed from the syllabus' while important ones are prioritized. This is to adapt to the limited class hrs.
Modular learning is kind of a plan-B option. I think it's an option if the covid cases rise and the A.Y. is forced to continue so that no students would be delayed for a year. Still, this is NOT YET FINAL. DepEd is STILL currently planning and having meetings for it.
Modular learning would require (S) to go to their respective schools to get modules or assignments, self-study and answer them at home, and submit it during the next visit. In short, (S) would still be provided education but more of a home-school type.
This is everything my friend knows and has told me. I asked permission to share this on public socmed. As far as my source knows, this isn't confidential info – but as of now, DepEd still hasn't finalized all of this.

That's why they are not announcing these plans yet.
Lahat tayo nangangapa pa sa online classes. Pati mga studyante na hindi alam kung makakapag-aral pa ba sila sa pasukan. Sana makatulong 'to sa mga nagtataka kung ano na nga ba ang mangyayari.
Also, @DepEd_PH, the public deserves an explanation to reassure them of receiving education.

Please let me know if this is confidential info or if some are incorrect. I would immediately take down this thread of course for the safety of my source and I. Thank you.
