I’ve been wound up by them before but need to get out of the habit. The anger and amplification suits them just fine and we’re not going to change their target readers’ minds. Some people are open to a constructive conversation, some people are professional wind-up merchants.

We’ve all in the arts met the guy who wangs on about only loving European theatre etc at a party, partly out of taste, partly to get a rise. Do what you’d do there and go induce joy in someone who’s interested in having any.

Some people need challenging because they’re influential and/or have a big platform. Happily, not the case here.
