not bl related but i wanna share you this story. 2 years ago, a girl taught she found her true love. why? because the feelings she had for that boy just felt so real, it’s so deep, it’s so heavy. but they didn’t ended up together because the boy fell in love with someone else ++
++ with the girl’s bestfriend. and because of that, she had no choice but to give up and move on. also, something happened that made them in bad terms and that broke the girl. she cried for weeks until she was able to get over it. ++
++ after few months, another school year started. she had crushes, of course, but around july, there’s this guy (her classmate) that got involved with her. it’s like they flirted but in a joking way, just for fun and trips. their classmates shipped them but ++
++ unexpectedly, the girl fell for the boy. not in a joking way but felt real feelings. whenever they flirt, the boy will think it’s just for fun but for her, it’s real. one day the boy knew about her feelings and everything they have just vanished.++
++ the guy distanced himself from the girl but the girl just can’t get over him. their interaction is 0%, the girl will just look at him from afar, and whenever the boy will smile, the girl’s heart will flutter. the boy’s simple things made the girl a very happy one. ++
++ after a month, the girl’s birthday is approaching and 2 days before her birthday, one of their subject teachers found out about the her feelings. he jokingly shipped them but what the girl didn’t know is that when she left sa classroom, their teacher asked the boy about her ++
++ their teacher asked him “do you like her?” the boy can’t speak so he just did a thumbs up. the teacher said “don’t give me signs, i want to hear it.” then the boy said “yes”. the teacher asked “why don’t you court her?” the boy said he prioritized his studies++
++ when the girl came back to the room, everyone was looking at her. the boy and his friends aren’t their at that time. the teacher said “it’s done” the girl is so confused. “ask your classmates” she asked one of her classmates and found out about what happened and she doesn’t ++
++ know what to feel. she thinks “he likes me?” her heart is so happy but her brain just couldn’t process it properly. when she got home, she messaged the boy and asked him about what happened earlier. the boy is like playing safe. the boy asked “do you know the question?” ++
++ the girl is so nervous but she replied “they asked if you like me and you said yes”. after that, the boy didn’t replied. it took him one day to check her messages. the girl did nothing but to check and check if the boy replied yet. they didn’t have classes the next day ++
++ so they didn’t saw each other. after one whole day of ignoring the boy finally replied saying “i’m sorry, i misunderstood the question. i thought sir was asking me if i wanted you to be my friend.” and after reading that, the girl just couldn’t hide her emotions ++
++ fortunately that day her parents wasn’t home so she cried and cried. like who wouldn’t someone said they like you but it turns out it was just some misunderstanding. she pitied herself because the day that incident happened, it’s a day before her birthday ++
++ she thought “wow i didn’t know crying a day before your birthday could be this painful”. that night, the boy messaged her asking “are you okay?”. the girl really can’t think straight so she just said “yes, why would i not be?” then the boy said “i know you’re not okay” ++
++ she thought “yes i’m not, but what could i do?”. the boy messaged her again asking her “tomorrow is your birthday?” she replied “no, it’s just my favorite artist’s birthday that’s why i use it on social medias”. the next day came by quickly and the moment she stepped ++
++ on their classroom, her classmates sang a happy birthday. the boy just sang with them, maybe confused (?) but he never approached the girl to greet her. when she came home, the boy messaged her again “you said it was not your birthday?”, then she thought ++
++ “what’s the sense? you knew it was today but you didn’t even greet me” but what she replied is “i’m sorry i lied”. and then months pass by again, they have almost no interactions except for groupworks, etc. but she is still happy just by looking at him from afar ++
++ november came and she was like little by little moving on from the boy and he met this guy from other school, and she wouldn’t lie that she got attracted to that guy the moment she saw him. she met him through a competition and the last day of the competition ++
++ she took her chance and had a picture with the guy. unexpectedly, they became friends even after the competition. but guess what? that guy from other school fell for her bestfriend AGAIN. and she couldn’t do anything about it but be happy for them. ++
++ her bestfriend told her that she doesn’t like the boy and when her bestfriend rejected him, the boy came to her. she taught “i was a rebound?” but she didn’t think about it too much and their friendship deepened. she even confessed her feelings to the guy ++
++ but the guy said he can only offer friendship. it’s totally fine with the girl. they chat and call each other everyday but one day, the guy she used to like, the one she got involved with, with joke flirting one, get back to her ++
++ what i mean is he started showing signs that he’s jealous (?) because the attention of the girl is already on other man. after 2 months, the girl lost feelings for the guy from the competition. she doesn’t know why, they were perfectly fine, but she lost feelings ++
++ and when she lost feelings, she told the guy about that. the guy seemed upset but she didn’t know why. she thought “you don’t have feelings for me right? why would you be upset if i lost feelings for you?”. until one day, they had closure, she isn’t sure why is that needed ++
++ because they aren’t dating. they stopped talking and chatting. one day, she realized “maybe i lost feelings for him because my feelings came back to you”. yep, to the guy she joke flirted with. the one that misunderstood a very clear question. her feelings came back to him ++
++ she never told anyone about this because she and the guy is actually becoming closer and he didn’t want to ruin that. one day, her friend asked the boy “did you have feelings for her (the girl)? like even a little?” the boy said “if i laugh, then the answer is yes” ++
++ suddenly, the boy laughed so hard and that’s when her friend knew the answer. her friend told her about this but she doesn’t want to get her hopes high again because she learned. one day, her friend told her something again that broke her heart, again. ++
++ “you know what? he (the boy) told me that he will confess to the one he likes.” the girl was taken aback “really? to who?” then her friend answered “to *insert name of bestfriend*” and that’s when she knew that she should stop. she just can’t avoid to think that ++
++ “whenever i like someone, that someone always likes my bestfriends.” funny right? that day, someone asked her “who is the one you like?” she didn’t hesitate to answer “him.” she said while looking at the guy. the guy remained silent and maybe they thought that it was a joke ++
++ but it wasn’t. it was real. as months pass by they become closer but still, she doesn’t wanted her hopes to become high again because maybe she just can’t afford another heartbreak. do you remember when the the girl and the guy from other school had a closure? ++
++ she was devastated after that. she didn’t know why, but what she knows is that she isn’t herself. the boy that her feelings came back to helped her. he helped her to become better again. he even said “you aren’t laughing the way you used to, i miss it.” ++
++ she smiled at that and said “i miss it too.” and then this quarantine happened. they barely talk because there’s nothing to talk to. they are close in school but not in chats. so if there’s no topic, no conversation. i forgot to tell you the boy is a fan of ivos ++
++ iv of spades, she even got a chance to watch a live concert of diff bands, including ivos, with him. now back to quarantine, as i said they barely talk. this quarantine, the girl had people who tried to flirt with her (not to boast), like people who showed interests to her ++
++ saying things that MAYBE is intended to flirt, but she didn’t like any of it. because of that, she started to hate long and daily conversations. she doesn’t want to feel committed, but then she realized that with the boy, she isn’t like this. ++
++ with the boy, she doesn’t care even if their convo is so nonsense, as long as it’s him, she’s happy. she also make covers and upload it on “my day” just so the boy will notice her. she isn’t even realizing that she’s falling deeper with a zero interaction. ++
++ last night, the girl is listening to some ivos songs and she remembered the guy because she knew that he likes them. she remembered a song but couldn’t remember the title so she asked the boy about it. their convo is short and dry but she’s happy ++
++ he makes her happy with the simplest things. she posted a tweet saying “how amazing it is to fall in love so many times with the same person.” the guy saw it and asked “who?” she couldn’t contain her smile and thought “i was pertaining to you, silly” ++
++ and then that’s when she realized that maybe, this guy is her first love, not the one 2 years ago. why? because what she felt 2 years ago is deep, heavy feelings. but she read that love shouldn’t be like that. love should be light as feather and thin as air ++
++ love shouldn’t drown you, but it should make you float, make you feel like you’re in cloud nine, that’s what love should feel. and that is what she feels for the guy, not so deep, but so light and fragile like a bubble. yes sometimes it hurts her ++
++ but even the simplest things make her happy and it’s because of him. she realized, this is what true love feels like. she didn’t even realized it herself, some friend needed to tell her that
