I understand parents who insist on their kids studying courses like Engineering, law, Medicine etc
They do so cos of the relative job security.

Nigeria clearly doesnt have the infrastructure to support some of the courses offered in our institutions.
I won't mention them.
It's even worse that some of our institutions are offering course combinations that make no sense whatsoever.
I've seen people combining physics and library information science.
What is that?

These are valid discussions we should be having.
Which is why when pple say things like "school na scam", i can see where they're coming from even tho i dont agree with the phrase.

For them it's an issue of going to sch to get the certificate, not to pick up a marketable skill.

Can't totally fault them.
