Bi does not mean "attraction to men and women" a thread
"of course bi means attraction to men and women you absolute [REDACTED] piece of [REDACTED] lesbophobic biphobe, what else would it mean"

I hear you ask
While "attraction to men and women" might be one way some* bisexuals define their sexuality

if you look throughout bi history you'll find the definition "attraction to more than one gender" is way more prominent.
This is a section from the bisexual manifesto (1990) written for the bisexual magazine "anything that moves" this is an extremely important part of bi history.
Take a look at how important bisexual organizations define bisexuality.
When bisexuals organize and come together to collectively again and again define bisexuality not as "attraction to men and women" but as a sexuality that is not binary I think you should start listening.
Dictionary definitions aren't good for many reasons but I think it's funny the people who like trying to define other sexualities by pulling up google tend to ignore this
It's actually a form of bi erasure to ignore all of this history and how bisexuals themselves define bisexuality.
If you use this thread to tell pansexuals they don't exist I have permission to take all of your electronics away forever
