We have damaged our demographic growth...which means we are prominent but not predominant. There is a difference.
We have to come at this in a different way.
1. We must make sure everyone can vote&this means stop everything & advocate for restoring voting rights, early voting etc

No amount of exasperated tweeting will change the fact that we must play the game both ways...we must do what our Ancestors did, meet every challenge to enfranchisement and when we have shown cooperation&good faith wage a legal war the likes of which TM would be proud.

We should maintain our own hyperlocal voting rosters. We need to be responsible for our seniors and make sure every 18 year old in our district is registered and has ID. We should make Souls to the Polls a political sticking point. We should make proof of voting mandatory.

We need to have actual powerful lobbies in Washington. People who can take our money and make things happen like every other community. We need to weaponize our buying power. We need to starve our political enemies &reward our friends.

We should have Colored Conventions again. Conservative, Moderate, Left, Progressive and Revolutionary wings....not just one monolith. We should not argue with each other but present our versions of the same contract with America highlighting what we hold in common.

We must meet weekly local and state political meetings with a quorum of ten. We must vote in our interests from city and county council to judges to state elections and legislatures. Leave no stone unturned.
