Mike Ashley was often praised by media, ex players & pundits. But now that he's selling up, those people have all gone quiet. Strange that...

The reality is, his 13 years have been an embarrassment to #NUFC & here's why he should never own a football club again:

Not happy with splattering his advertising logo's all over the stadium, he decided to rename St James's Park for a few extra mentions on tv.

Jonas Gutierrez:

He provided one of the brightest moments in Ashley's 13 years. Scoring a vital goal against West Ham to ensure the clubs Premier League survival. He was (& still is) adored by fans. @elgalgojonas

Mike Ashley got rid of him because he got cancer.

2 relegations:

Mike Ashley had no desire to finish above 17th in the Premier League. He knew that the revenue from the division would be so profitable, but he wouldn't spend those profits to take the club forward. Zero ambition.

Kevin Keegan:

A legend in Newcastle, but Mike Ashley treated him so badly that Keegan ended up taking him to court.

Ashley appointed Dennis Wise to undermine Keegan & force him out. Keegan had enough & understandably quit.

Mike Ashley is, quite frankly, embarrassing as fuck.

A little class goes a long way. Sadly, there's more class in a white dog turd than this over-privileged, over-fed, blood draining parasite!

This thread could go on, but I started getting angry!

Given his list of court cases, disgruntled employees (both retail & football) ruthless behaviour & dissociation from Newcastle & its fans, I dont know how anyone can defend him!

His departure will be celebrated. #Cans
