Okay, since this a very hot topic today sa aking department, i will share my thoughts dahil dati na rin akong tumakbo as officer ng org.

A thread...
Election period for any student body is a very crucial part of transitioning from a previous administration to honing new leaders. Ito yung time na dapat maipakita ng mga hopeful candidates yung kaya nila ioffer sa org to prove their worth...
And as the campaign progresses, magkakaroon ngayon ng supporters ang mga candidates. Dito na papasok yung pag-eendorse ng mga bets natin na candidates. And it’s normal. Walang mali don. It’s our right to choose whoever we want to be in position...
...however, if ikaw yung part ng previous administration and alam naman natin na malaki ang impact mg voice mo sa mga student members, i think it is not proper to use your platform to campaign for specific candidates, especially if ikaw ang magcoconduct and....
...magtatally ng votes at the end of election. Kung prof ka naman, okay lang din iendorse mo yung student mo but please do not use your power to force students to vote for your bet. Hayaan nating magdecide ang mga estudyante base sa nakikita nilang potential ng candidates.
As per current org officers and profs, wag sana natin gawing bias ang botohan just to make sure manalo yung gusto natin maluklok. You can endorse your bets by telling people his/her achievements and plans for the org, but never, NEVER, sound very persuasive in your statements...
This is just to enlighten everyone that whatever the result of this election will have a great effect on what’s to come for the department. So let us not use this time to blacklight people (i know bc i’ve been in that position before) and just see who among them stands stronger..
May the best candidate win 😊🤘🏻
