The key point is we don't have to choose between the economy and health. Coming out of lockdown too quickly will lead to a 2nd peak, which would be bad for both. Staying in until we have a vaccine would be catastrophic for the economy and therefore have severe health impacts
We have to find the Goldilocks zone - neither too fast nor too slow. That will be best for the economy + health. And the Government has to communicate this to the public. Because getting out of lockdown isn't just about government lifting restrictions - it's about how we respond
