Every time I cross a checkpoint I can't help but think of the police officers on nakabandi duty in this scorching heat. Some of them in Khar/Bandra have told me there are days they do this for over 12 hrs and then they go home & they have to wash their uniform thoroughly,

which means they get few hrs with their families before they get some rest. They risk their lives every single day! My heart goes out to the police force on duty during this pandemic. Mumbai police lost these brave souls during this pandemic!
