Pisces ♓︎ is one of my favorite signs because its literally so dreamy. Dreaminess, fantasy, etc are all Jupiter ruled things. Where Saturn rules heavy reality, Jupiter is light fantasy and floating dreams. [ THREAD ]

The amount of emotional intelligence Pisces has—part of me thinks its because they’re a Mutable sign, and this is the part of the season where the temperature and environment was subject to change from day to day, because this is the month where seasons transition into each other

If this is the month where we are moving away from the previous season, in Pisces’ case: Winter, that means the energy of Mutable Signs is moving away from x. Pisces is part of the Water triplicity, so its moving away from emotions.

On a positive note, Pisces moving away from its emotions can be a good thing; they’re able to look at how they feel objectively and what it means in the bigger picture of things, without any emotional invalidation on themselves.

On a negative note, moving away from your emotions can be seen as running away from them, or not wanting to deal with them. This is why people who are inexperienced with handling their Pisces placements can often run away or not want to deal with their emotions at all.

Again, the whole idea of psychological astrology, imo, is being aware of these planets as different parts of their psyche, and then learning to gain control. Its like taming a horse, you have to control over them through trust and understanding.

Otherwise the horse will run wild, but once you’ve tamed the horse: you guys have mutual respect for each other. This analogy applies to your placements in your chart: how much do you understand them and how much mutual respect is present between you guys?

If the native doesn’t have control over its Pisces placements, it can indicate that they can be too fanatical, out of touch with reality, and melodramatic. Depending on what planet is in Pisces, this can be easier or more difficult.

Lets think about what planets like and dont like to be in Pisces:

Jupiter ♃: Domicile
Venus : Exaltation
Mercury ☿: Detriment/Depression

Mercury being in Detriment and Depression in Pisces means that Mercury really cannot function in a rational, reality proven, and concrete way. The past few Mercury Rx’s in Pisces have been HELL. I mean Mercury Rx in Pisces earlier this year practically contributed to COVID.

So with that being said, adding onto the Jupiter fantasy signification, Mercury not being welcomed here at all, we know Pisces is really out of touch with reality, but its not always necessarily a bad thing.

Because Pisces isn’t tied down by reality or logic: it can create fairytales and fantasy places so effortlessly. The imagination that Pisces has can really make great artist, fiction writers (esp w Mercury in Pisces), as well as artist.

One of the reasons Pisces gets lumped in with “art and artistry” is because Venus is exalted in Pisces, and Venus is the planet of cohesion, harmony, and the arts, and with this being the sign of Jupiter: Pisces’s artistic imagination runs wild just like a little kid.

They know no limits and nothing will hold them back. As a Jupiter ruled sign: it will not be weighed down by reality, unlike Aquarius and Capricorn who let it weigh down on them too much sometimes, to the point where they cant dream.

I tend to think of Jupiter as the sort of information that is not very particular but covers a larger range of specific topics, ex. archetypes, thematic similarities, patterns, etc. Mercury, on the opposite end of the spectrum, is only focused on specific example and details.

Jupiter and Mercury are both on the axis of information and knowledge, but both are on different ends of that axis, thematic versus specific. Pisces is also a water sign though, which deal with emotions, feelings, and sensations.

Because Jupiter rules Pisces and Mercury rules the opposite sign, Virgo, both signs deal with information and ideas. Mercury is concerned in particular and minuscule, and Jupiter is big and thematic. Information + Water = emotional intelligence.

Pisces is SOOOO good at picking up on other people’s energies (and as a result be very spiritual) and feeling them. Because if this, they can really be great at identifying behavioral patterns in others.

They know how to read body language so well, facial expressions, etc: Pisces analyzes everything you DONT say. 90% of communication is subconscious communication, which is very Pisces.

Humans are creatures of habit, and because, as a Water sign, it takes in whatever it’s around into its matter, plus being Jupiter which is inclusive to a big scale (reason why its large groups of ppl, being in joy in the 11th): Pisces can take on everyone energy and feel it.

They really need to cleanse themselves energetically constantly because Pisces takes in all the energy around them without discerning if its good or bad, and that can cause Pisces to start to mix their own feelings with others and not know the difference.

Mercury is discerning in nature, and it cant do that in Pisces because, as a Jupiter ruled sign: they just say yes to everything, as Jupiter does when in dignity. So they can think the way they’re feeling is their own emotions, but its just left over emotions from a random

Its really impossible to lie to a Pisces because even though they might VERBALLY believe you or agree, because they pick up on energy, patterns, and feeling them within their body: they can automatically pick up when you’re not behaving normally, because they sense ur energys off

And being ruled by the truth planet, Jupiter: they know the truth and will go to extensive heights to find it, so dont do Pisces placements dirty.

Ultimately Pisces is such am imaginative, energetically intelligent, and boundless sign, and its really beautiful energy; true feelings, in the body, of harmony, bliss, and peace.
