i read some tumblr posts a while ago that were like. 1) doesnt make sense for ultear to have been doing tower of heaven shenanigans bcuz she wants to find zeref (the presented alternative being that it'd make more sense for brain to be possessing jellal) and also

2) ultear reappearing as Epic Magic Timey apparition thing in alvarez kind of reduces the significance of her sacrifice in the first place and Yeah lmao the first undermines most of her internal struggle & if shes gonna come back. whyd she leave and get old in the first place

and also "spell that steals the users time"could mean, so much "users time" isnt defined at All so if u wanted the aftermath of that spell could just be? oops no more time magic? she can do other things too lmao i'd prefer her being nerfed over her getting axed

i mean of course. if shes not got time magic i guess dimaria can do whatever the hell she wants in that one fight but apparently losing ones magic isnt necessarily permanent (ex, chelia) so like???? wtf. the moral of this thread is that i miss ultear ok <333
