I think we have to talk about how people that can't work full time or even part time due to mental illness or chronic illness (especially illnesses that are not visible) are not dole bludgers and to say so is ableist.

there are so many people that can't work for whatever reason and to call everyone dole bludgers hurts mentally ill people and those with chronic illness who's self worth may already be in the gutter due to being unable to work

especially young men that suffer from these issues are made to feel inferior and unworthy. they are not. your worth is not defined by your ability to work

I promise you, you are so much more than whether you have a job or not. As long as you are a kind human being, you are worthy to me.
