7.1 is a bad idea, extremely prone to misuse by an already authoritarian government. It doesn& #39;t sit well with the rest of very fair suggestions. Tax the rich, don& #39;t abolish the hardearned meagre private property of the middling classes, their only safety net.
I, on the other hand, am fully in support of certain nationalised sectors - such as health, education, perhaps even banking (or at least maintain a robust pubic sector in it). Looks like 7.1 has become an opportunity for the economic rightwing is decry public sector as a whole, and scream "communism, communism". Pretty insane given that it& #39;s the robust public sector that has saved the model state of Kerala, and has become a global example.
