Thread:

I grew up in a 1 bedroom trailer. We had no heat, no AC and no telephone.

Pinto beans or ramen noodles were dinner most nights.

After we moved out of there we moved into a nasty motel.

It was beyond embarrassing catching the school bus from a roach motel.
We were poor, i was raised poor. My kids are not, I will not let them live like I did.

I now work hard, I've created multiple income streams.

I'm not rich, but my bills get paid.

My kids have a variety if meals every week.

They get to go places, and experience things
I did not.

I'm not bitter about my childhood.

Heck, some of my best memories come from that old trailer.

But my childhood made me who I am now.

Becoming a father really focused my path towards success.
I cant let them down. My kids. They deserve more than what I had.

My dad left when inwas 12. He stayed our of my life for 7 years. When I was 19, my mom died.

Murdered.

Something clicked in me.

My dad is all I have left.

Maybe I should try again.
For everything my dad wasn't, one thing I can say is he was always a hard worker.

And now at 61, you can tell he's lead a life of physical labor.

His body is broken in some places, and breaking in others.

He is also now my beat friend.
Are those shameless plugs? Sure.

But I have kids to feed. I have a wife to provide for.

I have animals to feed.

Did you know I'm also a beekeeper?

It's a love of mine.

Yes I get stung, often.
But here's the bottom line.

Your past doesn't make your future.

You do.

Your attitude.

Your mentality.

Some people like @TheBrometheus pulls themselves from that childhood and forge an empire for themselves.

Some people get angry at the world. They spread venom and hate everywhere they go.

Others like @CoachJoeHart do thier best to bring kindness and compassion.

He's helped over 1000 people, including me, reach some level of success. https://gumroad.com/a/206861427

Not momma.

Not daddy.

You.
