Being a proud Latina and having such a large portion of the Latinx community judge me and my family before even meeting us has been such a heartbreaking experience. I’ve been discriminated by all types of people, but it’s the Latinx community that’s the harshest. V hypocritical.

I usually don’t like addressing that kinda hate, cuz I grew thick skin. But I feel like theres prob some people on the TL that are racist against other Latinx countries. AND it’s the same people that complain about racism. Like ??? Pop. opinion makes it right or ???

Most of my homies are Mexican so I don’t really know other Argentinian people who can relate to this, but lemme tell you once I tell people I’m Argentinian they start looking at me funny “you’re cool for an Argentinian” is too reminiscent of other racist remarks.

I’m even scared of speaking Spanish with my mother tongue bc of how Latinx people react. FUCKING SAD. Y’all really act like we don’t all come from the same colonizers and speak the same language. Or like all our last names ain’t from Europe.

Ok I’m done with this damn rant. But if ur bored and are racist against another Latin country, maybe this thread will enlighten you a lil.
