Control vs intentionality #thread
If you are like me, you feel super out of control right now. I've lost my job, I am staying with my parents, the world is actual hell and I've given up on having Plans for the rest of 2020 at this point.
My immediate reaction to this is 1/

to try to exert control over every possible area of my life that I can. I immediately set myself a schedule, I started shopping for stuff that I -need- online, set myself a list of things to do with my life.

is no such thing as a perfect environment, which means that your schedule can be affected by anything ranging from a hyper dog demanding attention to extreme emotional upheaval due to, say, a global pandemic and the resulting isolation and anxiety. The result can be 3/
lots of "failure" when something doesn't work out, and meeting your expectations rather than celebrating achievements as wins.
Enter intention. I'm SURE that I've talked about it before, because it's one of my favorite things, but this thread is as much of a reminder 4/
