Last year, I had the honor of serving as the youngest advisor on the @UN Secretary-General’s climate team.

Specifically, I was in charge of the first ever United Nations Youth Climate Summit, where we brought more than 1,000 young leaders from 140+ countries to the UN.

I had to fundraise over a million dollars to make this happen.

The aim was for youth to work on innovative climate solutions & engage with policy-makers on the defining issue of our time: the #climatecrisis.

I strengthened my skills when it comes to diplomacy, negotiation, radical collaboration, stakeholder engagement & leadership, which will serve me well as a Phoenix City Councilwoman.

I’m also excited to harness my experience at the global level to make meaningful change in my hometown.

I’m keen to work on the creation of new jobs & economic development, enhancing clean & affordable public transportation, & improving air quality here in District 7.
