got this in the mail today (thread)

so we received this package with nothing but a dvd in it. the stamp is fake n obviously glued on, meaning someone dropped it in the mailbox in person

we decide to see what’s on the dvd so we pop it in a laptop. at first it doesn’t look like there’s anything on it. after some digging it opens up to a very simple page with a couple links on it

the links are all surnames of families in the neighborhood
‘(Surname) Family’
sure enough, ours was there too
‘De Haas Family’

we’re like wtf goin on and click on ours. it opens to six screens of different rooms in our house. black n white, like, shitty cctv footage style

we are at this point seriously freaked the fuck out. it’s like 5 minutes of footage, none of us are actually onscreen except two vids of my brother in the living room

we do not have any cameras installed. whoever filmed these didn’t do it by hacking into any pre-existing devices.

also fun fact there was a rhuggenaat family one lol he lives in the area

anyways. at the end of the footage a PayPal request pops up. i’m like ah shit this a blackmail situation... but why???

this fucking gremlin runs back laughing like a maniac going “i’m for fake!!! i’m for fake right now!!!!”

and then my DAD STARTS LAUGHING TOO LIKE??? HELLO?????? anyways. tldr they pulled an elaborate prank on me and my poor mother who just had surgery. degenerates
