4. bit of a looser example, but the time when he insensitively slated small businesses trying to grow during the pandemic
5. the time when he more or less likened himself to a messiah and wanted to ‘guide young women’ on the internet

7. the time he equated being muslim to being in ISIS which is a very dangerous view
8. the time he got yelled at for being a cunt, gave a half arsed apology and then outed himself as a cunt
9. i don’t have a sound clip but ‘i’m sorry that i’m kinda queer it’s not as weird as it appears’ in M+YTS doesn’t sit right with me, even if he meant it as a way to say strange you have to be VERY careful with words like that when you have that much influence
10. the time when he went to dubai, which is a country where being LGBTQ+ is still something you can be persecuted for unfortunately, kissed a boy and endangered his life before making it look lighthearted:

i don’t have any more examples rn but i am open to more. muting this thread incase stannies start abusing me. it’s important to remember too that you can call out your favourite bands and artists for being cunts and still listen to their music.
also please don’t come for me via reply or dm about how i like his music yet i slag him off because it’s exactly that. i despise the man but i like the music, and the music is created by the band and not just him.
en plus, i seriously don’t care about whatever justification you may have for his actions. whether they were a long time ago or not, he has shown no genuine remorse for his actions and hasn’t been sincerely apologetic about any of them. some of them are completely inexcusable.
