LeBron statpadding in the 2014 Finals is such a dumbass false narrative. Should we break it down?
Game 1:

Heat down 5 at halftime, up 4 at the end of 3 (78-74). LeBron plays 5:04 in the 4th, he checks out with 3:59 left due to cramping, Heat were down 94-92.

He missed the rest of the game and Heat get outscored 16-3, losing the game 110-95. Lmfao.
Game 2:

Heat win 98-96. LeBron drops 35/10 on 14-22 FG (3-3 3P, 4-5 FT) and was the only reason they won that game.
Game 3:

Heat down 21 at halftime. Was he supposed to quit?

MIA outscores SAS by 10 in the 3rd and cut the deficit to just 11 at the start of the 4th (86-75).

He goes 2-4 w/ 4 pts in the 4th. His last pts came with 6:31 left to cut the deficit to 13. Heat lose by 19.
Game 4:

Heat down 19 at halftime.

He scored 19 of MIAs 21 pts in the 3rd to try and will them back, but it was no use. Should he have quit in the NBA Finals with an entire half left?

Only played 4:54 in the 4th and scored 0 pts. Heat lost by 21.
Game 5:

Heat down 7 at halftime and 19 at the end of 3.

Only played 5:32 in the 4th & scored 4 pts on 2-4 FG. His last pts came with 7:32 left to cut the deficit to 16.

He then got checked out w/ 6:30 left & the Heat down 18.

Spurs won by 17 and won the series.
For the entire series:

LeBron scored a whopping 8 points in the 4th quarters while his team was down double digits.

He scored a CRAZY 4 points in the 4th quarters with his team down 15+.

The latest he scored in the 4th with his team down double was in G3 with 6:31 left.
LeBron scored 0 points in the 4th quarters with MIA down 20 or more.

Putting up numbers during the first 3 qtrs of NBA FINALS games when the opposing team is in control does not mean you're statpadding, lol.

People act like he should've actually GAVE UP and just checked out.
G1 - Great game coming down to the wire until Bron left w/ cramps and Spurs took off.

G2 - LeBron with a great game, especially in the 2nd half, to give MIA their only win.

G3 - Heat fought back in the 3rd and were sticking around in the 4th until Spurs pulled away late.
G4 - LBJ was single handily trying to bring them back in the 3rd when all hope seemed lost. He played less than 5 mins of the 4th when the Spurs were in clear control, scoring 0 (definitely statpadding lol)

G5 - Didn't even play the final 6:30 of the qtr since Spurs were up big
