i would love to get wwx jgy xy in a room just to hear their brains work
xy is all about efficiency in all but the most passionate of pursuits, going through the system as he pleases (chaotic evil; jgy plays in,under, with the system to do exactly as he pleases (lawful evil); and wwx is a combo/working around the system (neutral evil?)
xy: most direct paths regardless of obstacles
wwx: some consideration of others, goes Around where necessary but unafraid to challenge
jgy: Under and In, creating as little disturbance as possible until he's ready for it to topple

weaknesses
xy digs himself into corners bc lack of foresight
wwx makes problems too complicated for his own good, creates own issues bc he tries to figure out how to solve a problem he's not even fully aware of
jgy sacrifices so much enroute to end goals, was it all worth it?

the way i've written xy in this thread makes him seem simple, but tbh it's just his action choices that are simple. his motivations and their intensities/how he interprets the world are complex and situational and actually . not straightforward lmao
bc if his motivation was just to straight kill xxc, he wouldve just . done that once he could hold his sword. xxc trusted him, it would've been easy. but he didn't. why? lots of contributing factors
had he actually wanted xxc to die, it wouldn't fit his character profile to do what he did, and given how consistent ch. characterizations are, it wouldn't make sense for him to Not spill xxc's blood w his own hand when everything else in his past exists
