So i spent my last 2 hours making a pay calculator in excel based on how i think salary deductions (pension, tax, etc) are computed. Lol. Prolly around 95% accurate.

Ok. So iâve tried to analyze my pay for the last financial year. Since i was paying more tax bec of the lapse of NHSP to tax my bank shifts (so thatâs unpaid tax that HMRC claimed back), i was basically receiving at least ÂŁ100 less pay per month.
And to continue this thread (lol) - if my computations are right, a band 7 earns around ÂŁ2800-3k per month. Thatâs something that a band 6 can have with enough enhancements and a bank shift or 2.
