i think people need to chill a little bit and understand that the recent changes to core gameplay in osu!lazer are just one part of a greater experimental whole that are going to end up siblings with other changes to core mechanics that might frame them better

like for example, being able to set per note leniency or OD, or other changes that allow for greater control by mappers to help make these kinds of things work

it is a lot more helpful to wait until these changes are in a big contiguous package (or perhaps they should come out that way to avoid the backlash? idk) before getting too irate over it
