Hello, Internet! I have a @PayPal problem. @AskPayPal. I can't log in to my PayPal account. It says my password is wrong. When I request a code, it offers me email or text. The text is not a familiar number, so I choose email. I am emailed a code. When I enter the code,
@PayPal @AskPayPal tells me I need to verify my identity with a text. Again, the phone number is not mine, and doesn't even seem to be American. Additionally, the emails with the code are coming from PayPal Australia. I have never been to Australia. PayPal, you need to fix this.
Also, @PayPal @AskPayPal, I can't log in, so I can't get help via your website. I chatted with a representative, who said he couldn't help me, and then ended the chat. FIX THIS.
I am tagging @paypalau in this as well - PayPal Australia - please help fix the above issue. Someone has added an Australian phone number to my PayPal account so I can't log in with my email address without verifying via text... to a phone I don't own, as I am in the US.
I just want to update on this - PayPal WAS able to resolve my issue. And on a holiday, no less! I don't know if it took @AskPayPal PayPal US and PayPal Australia working together or what, but they did solve my problem, and I'm very grateful. Thank you! :)
