My problems with the movie:
1. Casting:
i. While the lead actor was great, I wasn& #39;t convinced that Ramsey looked as old as the story intended him to be.

ii. A lot of the supporting cast ended up not being relevant to the story. Biggest example was the character Nancy Isime played. She was so quickly pushed aside completely immediately Kelly came into the picture.
Side note: "Kelly the Klutz" was only klutzy in that one scene. In subsequent scenes, she was so put together and organized. Not even a hint of quirkiness or clumsiness.
iii. The blogger. Man, I don& #39;t know, just no. I know they were trying to go for weird, quirky, and all that. But I& #39;m so sorry, David Jones David just didn& #39;t do it for me.
2. Character Arc:
I wasn& #39;t satisfied with Nnamdi& #39;s character arc.
Yes, he ended up being contrite and tried to take his own life — a good twist — but that wasn& #39;t enough to show how his journey changed him.

3. The story was too elaborate, and & #39;cos of that, a lot wasn& #39;t properly developed.
For example, Toby was thrown away for a long time, and just convenient ly resurfaced from nowhere towards the end.
Also, that handshake, it wasn& #39;t their "thing", it just appeared.

4. Some exchanges were uncomfortable. Prime example was that scene where Nnamdi & Kelly had an argument.
It didn& #39;t provoke as much emotion as it should have.

PS: I didn& #39;t think the car bashing was a necessary addition to the story.
A man that age, who just got a good job with the Ministry of Justice shouldn& #39;t be that pressed about about a minor dent on his dad& #39;s car.

It was intended to indicate how much he could sacrifice for his brother, obviously, but I& #39;m sorry, it just didn& #39;t do it for me.
Also, Toby& #39;s parents, another two characters that were just thrown off the surface of the movie& #39;s earth.
Add the friend he went to the club with to that list.

Now, what I LOVED!
1. Cinematography. Even though I caught the boom mic drop on like 2 different occasions, I think cinematography for the entirety of the film was good.

2. They indeed showed affluence. You could see, feel, smell, hear, and even touch how rich those men were. I loved that.
3. The chemistry between Nnamdi and Kelly was just heavenly from the very first scene they were in together.
It was like Muna and Swanky had known each other since forever.

4. Ramsey Nouah. Swanky JKA. Kenneth Okonkwo. Ebele Okaro. Shawn Faqua.
These guys did really amazing jobs with their acting.

Finally, everything I& #39;ve written in this thread is my opinion (obviously

But of course, if you don& #39;t agree (or you agree) with anything or everything I& #39;ve said here, or say, you have any questions for me, shoot, I& #39;m listening (reading)
