Some of you have gotten facts wrong. Yes Yoongi comes from a royal clan with 4 empresses but he is only a distant relative of them as there are 142,000+ Yeoheung Mins in Korea. Its technically not wrong to call him royalty but always remember that he is not a direct descendant

Speaking of royalty, there are two more BTS members coming from royal clans. Kim Taehyung and Kim Seokjin. Both belonging to the Gwangsan Kim clan which had a prince and a few queens.

You have to remember that people in the clans are distant relatives. So everyone in Yeoheung Min clan is related in some way. So both Kim Taehyung and Kim Seokjin are distantly related. It is to be remembered that Gwangsan Kim had higher power than Yeoheung Mins

Additional fact: Did you know that Kim Min Gyu of Seventeen is also from Gwangsan Kim clan? Which makes him a distant relative of Kim Taehyung and Kim Seokjin

Additional fact: Earlier it used to be illegal in Korea for a couple from the same clan to marry. The law is outdated now and does not exist.
