The thing about Candice Patton ONCE AGAIN being harassed by people who care more about their white m/f pairings than her humanity is that... she actually JUST talked AGAIN about the harassment she's received for six years because of racists obsessed with shipping

Whether it's dudebro "Not my Iris" fans or Caitlin/Barry fans, she has spent years dealing with people hating on her specifically because they don't like the way the pairing HER CHARACTER IS IN on her show looks with her in it.

And next to no one defends her.

Certainly no one on her show... I mean cast/producers/writers... have they ever truly thrown their weight behind her and against a fandom that is violently antiblack in the name of their desire sore an aesthetically canon compliant fictional relationship?

So this is frustrating.

(I think the main people defending Candice and calling out what happens to her and how so much of fandom mistreats her are... Black women in the fandom. And as you can tell from that earlier PickMe... Not all.)
