- We already know the MV and lyrics are reference to the movie Masquerade and King Gwanghae (Joseon Dynasty), and we can see it in the jewelry he wears too https://twitter.com/BTSARMY_Salon/status/1263779762008252416
- Blonde yoongi is the fake king since there are only 4 toes on the dragon that is on his Gonryongpo (emperor fit) meaning he's a prince not a king, and the black haired yoongi is the real king. i'll elaborate

cont.
The fake king is Yoongi's persona/past self, and black haired Yoongi is his 'real' self. Back then, they had to put out personas of themselves that didn't necessarily represent their real personalities

cont.
Past Yoongi was louder while real Yoongi is more calm/laid back. Just like how the fake king is more aggressive/boastful (he shows off the box with the head that was just chopped off), and black haired Yoongi is more calm/less boastful. We can see it in the outfits too
Both Yoongis say they are the king and the boss, the difference is that the fake king is not the real king/boss but wants to be, and the black haired yoongi is the real king/boss, and knows it
This situation also reminds me of the phrase "fake it till you make it". Now that the real yoongi has made it and found his real self (real king), he doesn't need the persona (blonde yoongi/fake king) anymore, thus k wording him
This and the line "종놈 출신에 왕된 놈
(Born a slave, risen to a king)" reminds me a lot of Hwarang (Silla Dynasty). In Hwarang, Moo Myung is born from a low class mother and royal father, and ultimately ends up living as a low class person (black haired yoongi).

cont.
+ meanwhile, Sam Maek Jong is the heir to the throne but is kept a secret (he's a hidden king, no one knows who the king looks like). The difference in the MV is the black haired yoongi ended up k wording the fake king.
The two yoongis facing each other in the end of the mv also reminds me of a scene in ep. 20 of hwarang where both men kind of have a face off for the throne
- reminder that these are theories and may not be true, but, I don't think the dragon having 4 toes wasn't planned as we know bh pays attention to small details. I'm kind of feeling like this meme rn
I also really like this reference of the keys (gold & jade) not being the real treasure !! The amount of details they put in the MV is amazing
