my cruel summer single theory:
a thread

so like many of you i want cruel summer to be the next single off of lover and i think that was the original plan

taylor asked if she needed to wait until summer to release it as a single which made me think that it was going to be a single around june

however i don’t think that the music video would have been released in june, instead i think it would have been released after lover fest

with the video being made up of footage of lover fest performances and bts footage

but bc miss rona came and ruined that i think they are going to push cornelia street as the next single because it’s been highlighted recently, especially after the #CityOfLoverConcert

i still hope that cruel summer will get a video but i don’t think it will be any time soon :( *end of thread*
