TJ Swan is known as the OG hook singer for Hip-Hop music. Born in the BX & raised in LI, Swan was raised with a musical background. He met Biz Markie at Five Towns college where they went on to perfect their craft & release music in the 80s! #REPRESENT

After graduating, Swan & Biz signed to Prism Records & had Billboard success with songs such as “Nobody Beats The Biz” & “Albee Square Mall”. TJ would sing the hook on these records.
Biz & Swan then went to Cold Chillin' Records where they became part of the group “Juice Crew” founded by Mr. Magic. Swan featured on MC Shan’s songs “Left Me Lonely” & “She’s Gone”.
Swan was sought after by many labels for his solo debut but he ultimately signed with Clive Davis’s new label Arista Records. Due to a disagreement, Swan walked away from the deal & continued working on the road. His debut album “Have No Fear, Swan Is Here” was never released
TJ continued to write & produce songs for many years. Though he never released an official album, he inspired legends such as Nate Dogg & praised by artists such as Nas & Kanye West. Peace to the Legend TJ Swan. Here’s audio of “Nobody Beats The Biz”
