It’s completely normal for artists to take a month or more on commissions. I feel like social media has made us so used to fast content a lot of people forget artists are human and have daily lives, mental health etc (cont...)
Please just be understanding (especially now more than ever) that artists aren’t machines and it’s very common for commissions to take a month, two months maybe even more. As long as your artist is communicating and not ghosting you, please be understanding !!
I wanna add this isn’t directed at anyone of my customers don’t worry !! I’ve been seeing this happen a lot with friends recently and I’ve had artists I’ve commissioned DM’ing me apologizing and it always makes me so sad
And yes asking for updates is totally ok but please don’t ask an artist for updates every week or every time they post art. It gets incredibly annoying and makes us not want to even work on it
