There’s been some dope new anime to kick off 2020 and more to come later on this year also so I thought I’ll do a thread on my dream wish list of anime to come out at some point this decade:

1. Berserk (WIT Studio reboot)

This classic has had previous anime adaptations before but I believe that WIT would be the ideal studio to give one of the greatest manga series of all time a quality anime that it truly deserves

2. Hajime no Ippo season 4

This acclaimed sports series has a lot of its fans waiting for season 4 for a long time now. Given how there’s always been large gaps between previous seasons hopefully Madhouse will give us a new season at some point this decade

3. Hunter x Hunter return

Partly wishful thinking and is dependent on togashi’s situation but if the acclaimed manga can make a somewhat consistent comeback in the future then I’m sure that it’s hugely popular anime counterpart would make a return and continue where it left off

4. Jojo part 7: Steel Ball Run

An anime that’s very likely to happen this decade and given how I’ve become a big fan of the jojo anime as a whole recently and SBR is considered the best part of the entire series you can only imagine how it would look animated by David Pro

5. Vagabond (Madhouse animated)

Inoue’s swordsman masterpiece is another manga that’s considered near impossible to adapt but seeing how madhouse worked on other seinen series like Monster and Hellsing Ultimate they could be the ideal choice to bring it to life

6. Blue Lock (Production IG)

This sports series is quickly growing with each new ch and with Haiykuu to end at some point in this decade then this would be the perfect series for IG to pick up as the next great sports anime

7. Solo Levelling (Ufotable)

Given the new wave of webtoon anime coming its only a matter of time before solo levelling gets its anime adaptation and Ufotable could be the ideal studio to animate this fast paced and high powered action of a webtoon

8. 20th Century Boys

I only want an adaptation of Urasawa’s 20th Century Boys as the story alone deserves to be animated given Madhouse previous work with another Urasawa series in Monster they would no doubt do this series justice
