During the same ceremony, RM performs alongside Zico as part of the combined medley stage with Block B and BTS. RM was to perform a track off his upcoming mixtape but instead performs the now famous out of pocket rap
Out of pocket is a technique where the flow of the rap has a beat different than the instrumental. It’s technically very difficult and there are only a couple of examples of Korean rappers exercising this technique live.

20141212, SIMS of KHH group MIB uploaded a diss track on Soundcloud which included lines such as

20150201 in an interview during the 4th Gaon Awards, RM spoke of the diss saying that Bobby heard the track and gave him a high-five after the stage. RM also notes they are not close.

RM also could not confirm whether Bobby won SMTM through his own endeavors or through YG’s influence. In Joke, RM invites all his haters to “hit him” which is a commonly known invitation to respond with a diss track of your own. There has been no response.
On 20151005 Bobby was asked about the SMTM disses, specifically RM and he could not answer, giving the mic to YG CEO to answer for him.
