1/2 Had a long conversation with someone about this topic last night. I was fairly on the fence. The other individual felt supporters of smaller clubs in rugby league are generally portrayed as second class citizens, boosted by phrases such as “flat-capper” “pit-village”

2/2 they felt if a smaller club supporter puts a post on the rugby league fans site they are possibly subject to negative comments/snobbish attitudes towards the club they support. To the point where fans of these clubs are made to feel unwelcome and unwanted.

Additional comment: do supporters of smaller clubs get demonised, made to feel second-class/unwanted in rugby league by the RFL and supporters from bigger clubs? I would be interested to see what people think. I see both arguments.
