the rivalry between zeb and kallus is introduced in their first duel in 'droids in distress,' whilst some things were later retconned in the honorable ones, both episodes end on the same note yet with much different tones
kallus goes into the duel confident and almost wins until ezra saves zeb, and the tables are turned- in the honorable ones kallus is also overly confident in his beliefs and what the empire stands for, until zeb
zeb "the child," saves kallus "the warrior," as foretold in the lira san prophecy in legends of lasat
at both the end of their first duel and the honorable ones, zeb is met with warmth from the ghost crew, and kallus is left alone- it took an entire season for kallus to realise this had always been the case
this is one of my favourite parallels in the whole series, im tired of people skipping the first two seasons when its this good
idk what this thread is lmao but this is why i love star wars rebels*
*kallus and zeb and season one and kallus' arc even if its not the best most fleshed out it could be yet
