From the same data room index when RFC was for sale, it looks like they shafted the Italian taxman for VAT (IVA) for the transfer of Paul Gascoigne in 1995.

We have evidence of cheating from 1995 to 2011 without interruption.
Did they suddenly start in 1995? Or does it go back further?

Correction. That should be cheating 1995 to 2012 without interruption.
Whyte's non-remittance of PAYE, NIC, and VAT was certainly cheating. The other clubs had to do it but the SFA and SPL turned a blind eye to Rangers.
