Not that anyone should care what a man with a seething hatred for women thinks about rape culture, but I just want to reiterate why there is a huge difference between "she's no angel" and the pattern of lies and crimes of deceit that we've seen from Tara Reade.
For reference, please read this article about false rape allegations and who makes them. They are rare, but they DO happen, and there is usually a pattern to the false accusers' behavior and accusations. https://qz.com/980766/the-truth-about-false-rape-accusations/
Importantly, rape victims have no common characteristics with other rape victims. There's no victim profile. But false accusers do have common characteristics, mainly a history of making bizarre fabrication and of crimes of fraud. That is why Reade's history is important.
Her previous lies and crimes of fraud don't just hurt her credibility. They fit the profile of a false accuser. The type of accusation she made also fits the profile of a false accusation in that it is unambiguous regarding whether consent was iffy.
So much of Reade's behavior fits the profile of a false accuser. It's not about being an imperfect victim or "no angel," it's about having an outlandish story that drastically changed over time, digging in, and finding out that Reade had a history that fit the profile as well.
Anyway, read the whole article. The main conclusion is that false accusations are rare, and that because we know the traits of false accusers and of false accusations, we can proceed believing that most victims are telling the truth.
