Internet Saftey. As a woman who uses her own name on here I have to take precautions, I want to share with you all.

Let's talk about getting your personal information off the internet. There are two ways you can do this. (1/8)
The Free way to wipe yourself off the internet will take some work but is not hard to do. Attached is a list of websites you want to visit and search yourself on. Every website you find yourself on you want to opt-out of. (2/8)
These websites vary with time it takes to take you off I have found the response time between 2 days-6 weeks. So the sooner you get started the better. Most took my info down within 2 weeks tho. Now I also recommend repeating this search every three months (3/8)
different things will spark these sites to re-add your information. I did find when info popped back up I would catch only one or two re-adding. If you move or open any new credit cards I would check it probably the next two months in a row. (4/8)
Now like I said this takes work but is effective. If you do not want to do the work yourself there is another option I now use after doing it this way for over a year. There is a paid website that does it all for you. I highly recommend if you want to go this route (5/8)
The paid website is https://joindeleteme.com/refer/?coupon=RFR-49242-P36ACE

That is a referral link that gets you a discounted price of a year of service for $103

Basically, It was worth it to me when I didnt have the time anymore to properly keep monitoring to make sure I was kept offline (6/8)
They send you a report every 3 months of the list of websites you were found on. confirmation they sent in an Opt-out for you and how long the wait time is to be taken off the website with updates status (7/8)
Both methods work it just comes down to what is best for you. I did the work for a while now I pay and its easier for me and I don't have to worry about forgetting. Everyone should be safe online! I just wanted to share because these tips work! (8/8)
