Black friends,
I want to know your thoughts on when politicians:
A) lump every single black person into one category
B) directly say theyre the best choice for black voters
C) they’re generally politically aligned with your values, but makes a gaff with a tone-deaf statement

Both parties are guilty of this approach, and I want to know how it makes you feel, not only as a voter, but as a human being. And what are ways to communicate that theyre an ally without sounding like they’ve got white savior complex?
I’ve seen a lot of people, who aren’t black, weighing in on this with what happened on The Breakfast Club this AM. I want to hear what you have to say. Cc: @revrob06 @qastor
