This was such an incredible intro to the mixtape! I loved the voice note in the beginning! ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE LYRICS! It beautifully reflects the conflicting feelings he possesses about his dreams and fame. He explores the two sides of every aspect of his life -

- he questions the worth of his hardwork and the weight of added expectations to his name. The chorus is simple and hopeful and abt how he finds comfort in the moonlight shining on him & is the only constant in his life. BONUS POINTS FOR INCLUDING MY FAV LYRIC FROM NEVERMIND

~ Daechwita

I've already cried enough about this track! PRODUCTION ON THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE STANDOUT FOR ME! The use of traditional beats & instruments us INSANE! The energy is off the rocks! Love the CHORUS, his flow, his "Flexing, I don't do it' line! THE POWER THIS TRACK EXUDES

- Such well crafted lyrics with so many historical & traditional references! Love how he's aware of where he stands and the power & influence he holds and he isn't afraid to shoot down anyone who tries to belittle him. The power & confidence yoongi emanates is LETHAL! WHAT A KING

This is just classic yoongi being raw and unfiltered and putting haters in their freaking place! ICONIC!

Loved his backing vocals! This is an attack against every single person who has ever spewed hate or taken advantage of them for their own twisted narratives. The fact that he asks them "What do you think?" and then continues to say whatever it is HE DOESN'T FCKING CARE BYEE

~ Strange

JOONIE! I'm honestly blown away at how beautifully crafted this entire track is! Loved yoongi's use of autotune in chorus! The underlying message of this track goes way deeper than what I can interpret! They talk about the real issues & problems faced by the society

They criticise capitalism, fake society constructs & general perception of people on what's right. ABSOLUTELY AMAZED AT how both of them rap with different perspectives of what they think is 'strange' for similar circumstances! THE WAY JOON'S 2ND VERSE MIRRORS YOONGI'S 1ST

people saying they're doing okay whilst being trapped within this system that benifits no one. TWO GENIUS LYRICISTS ON ONE TRACK IS BOUND TO BE SO ICONIC!

Loved every single lyric in this! Absolute favourite being:

VOCAL KING YOONGI COME THROUGH!
I loved this one so much! I felt the vibe of the track was totally unexpected. The lyrics struck a powerful chord with me. The struggles of growing up & the immense pressure that comes with it is so beautifully described! I'm feeling emo

The unexpected rush of emotions & the reveal of the harsh realities can be really daunting. Yoongi longs for a day without any concerns & worries where he can just live. This track is about coming in terms with growing up while struggling to hold onto the last shred of ur dreams

~ Burn it

I'm a huge fan of MAX since his YouTube cover days and was so excited about this collab! He did not disappoint! His vocals were absolutely amazing!

The INSTRUMENTALS & PRODUCTION was standout for me! Yoongi sounded incredible! HIS TEAR VERSE HAD ME SCREAMING FOR 5 MIN

In terms of lyrics, I was kind of lost on what exactly they meant. But I related this with this strong urge to burn yourself, doesn't matter if its ur past self or present one, just burn them completely because you can't stand to look at it anymore. Just make yourself disappear.

You don't even recognise the person you are now and all the weakness and hatred and rage inside you is futile so you just wanna reduce yourself into ashes. I love how yoongi assures decisively giving up on something requires great courage. And sometimes giving up is good thing.

~ People

NOTHING IN THE WORLD WOULD HAVE PREPARED ME FIR YOONGI SINGING HIS HEART OUT IN THIS! HIS VOCALS??? ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I'M HIGHKEY TEARING UP

This one is one of my favourite tracks on this mixtape! Loved the instrumentals, the lyrics and yoongi's vocals! PERFECTION!

The wordplay reminded me of trivia:love. This track radiates so much comfort and warmth! It's okay to not be okay. Even if life doesn't go as planned, yoongi assures you that all the pain you're facing will eventually pass just like everything goes!

~ Honsool

This is such a cool concept for a song! Loved the production and really loved yoongi's flow! This basically describes your schedule once you get home after work. You're so exhausted and stressed and already fretting about tomorrow so you down your worries with alcohol.

You're just so physically and mentally exhausted and just tired of routine so you rely on a drink to let your mind off things. In that moment you're flying and no one can stop you! Loved the robotic voice that I think mimics the distorted voice u hear in your head when ur drunk.

~ Interlude: Set Me Free

This made me tear up. Yoongi's vocals here are so raw and vulnerable! :((

This track is a cry for help. You're in a lot of pain & overwhelmed with emotions so you're begging to be set free. Because then you wouldn't be in pain anymore.

~ Dear My Friend

This is probably the MOST vulnerable I've heard yoongi since his song The Last! :((

This song is really heavy lots of emotions and pain to be processed here. Absolutely loved Jung Jae Won's vocals! His voice conveyed pain so beautifully! LOVED THE PRODUCTION!

This is such a sad song. This song is about yoongi's close friend and the friendship they shared. Really personal song. It describes the pain of people drifting away from each others lives & going their separate paths. Constantly being torn between hating them and missing them.

It beautifully conveys the feeling of you fiercely trying to protect your friend and bring them on the right path of life but failing miserably. You're both searching for the person you once knew, but they're long gone now. You're trying to fix a relationship that can't be mended

The storytelling in this is brilliant and takes you through a rollercoaster of emotions. It's a lot of what ifs and maybes but there's no way of knowing if the outcome could be any different. Pain of missing a lost friend hurts beyond everything and I just wanna hug yoongi!

WOW THIS WAS ONE HELL OF A RIDE!

I absolutely loved this mixtape! It's always such a life changing experience to listen to any of yoongi's work. I'm so proud of how far he's grown both as an artist and as a person! He's such a talented artist whose work deserves all the love!
