You know, when "The Princess Bride" came out I saw it with a guy I knew from college. He suggested the movie and suggested I go with him AND ONLY JUST NOW do I wonder if he wasn't setting it up as a date and I was just too straight and clueless to figure it out that's what it was

To be clear, if he WAS trying to make it a date I'm not having a retroactive panic moment about it. I've been hit on by guys from time to time and mostly I'm just tickled people find me hit-on-able at all. But, yeah, I've always been a bit clueless when people try to be subtle.

This is, incidentally, one of the things I loved about Krissy; after the first date she was pretty much, "Yup, you're mine now," and I was all "OH GOD THANK YOU FOR NOT MAKING TRY TO READ THE MOMENT I AM SOOO BAD AT THAT." I think she thought that was cute.
